Job summary

Horrocks in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Design-Build Drainage Lead to guide drainage discipline engineering for transportation projects, including freeways and interchanges. You will lead DB/PDB pursuits and oversee design work, analysis, and coordination with other disciplines.

The role requires a PE license (preferred), 10+ years in drainage design, 3+ years in DOT DB/PDB, and strong leadership and client communication skills. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• PE license preferred; state(s) UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA noted in ad.
• 10+ years leading drainage design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years DOT DB or PDB experience.

• Organized and detail-oriented workflow.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation projects and pursuits.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads and integrate into project delivery.
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analyses, studies, reports, plans, specs, and quantities.
• Utilize Microstation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce designs.
• Represent the team with clients and manage deadlines.
• Commitment to local and Rocky Mountain Region projects.
