Job summary

Lumen seeks a Senior Lead Data Governance Architect to drive the governance technology program within the Telemetry, Observability & Technology team. You will implement catalog tooling, define patterns, and lead a small team to deliver across a multi‑platform data estate.

You will coordinate with Data Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and Information Security to embed governance from the start and ensure scalable, auditable data across warehouses, Databricks, and Foundry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or governance tooling.
• 3+ years in a senior or lead role delivering governance solutions.
• Hands-on with Informatica CDGC or similar enterprise catalog.

Responsibilities

• Lead full implementation of enterprise governance catalog (Informatica CDGC).
• Define patterns and mentor governance engineering teams.
• Roll out observability tooling and data quality rule framework.
• Lead technical assessments with governance technology leadership.
• Coordinate SailPoint integration design with Security Office.
• Drive phased delivery of Unity Catalog connectivity and policy enforcement.
