Job summary

Lumen seeks a Senior Lead Data Governance Architect to drive the governance technology program within the Telemetry, Observability & Technology team. You will lead the enterprise catalog rollout, establish patterns, and mentor architects across multi‑platform data estates.

You will design data quality rule frameworks, oversee identity integration, and coordinate with Security and Data Engineering to embed governance from the start. This role requires hands‑on depth and strategic leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or governance tooling implementation.
• Hands-on implementation with Informatica CDGC or comparable enterprise catalog.
• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, including RBAC and data product registration.
• Proven leadership delivering technical governance in a multi-platform environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise governance catalog implementation (Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog).
• Define implementation patterns and act as the main technical escalation point.
• Roll out observability tooling and design data quality rule framework.
• Lead technical assessments and build evaluation environments for new tools.
• Coordinate SailPoint integration design with Information Security.
• Drive phased delivery of the governance technology roadmap across platforms.
