Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking an experienced technician to execute maintenance, repair and qualification testing of analytical instrumentation including HPLC, UPLC, LC/MS and LC/MS/MS. The role supports calibration, troubleshooting, and process improvements for customers in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications require a Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry/electronics and eight years of instrument troubleshooting experience or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, electronics, or a closely related field.
• Eight (8) years instrument/equipment troubleshooting and repair experience, or equivalent combination.
• Advanced to expert knowledge of HPLC, UPLC, LC/MS and LC/MS/MS.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, diagnoses and repairs HPLC, UPLC, LC/MS and LC/MS/MS equipment.
• Calibrates and qualifies chromatography systems.
• Drafts SOPs, calibration procedures and validation protocols.
• Works with customers and staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
