Job summary

Pace Analytical is seeking a Field Service Engineer for on-site work in Columbus, OH, specializing in HPLC, UPLC, GC and IC systems. You will perform maintenance, calibration and qualification, while coordinating parts and supplies and providing expert customer support.

The role requires a degree in chemistry or related field with 3+ years of analytical instrumentation experience, and travel up to 15% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field and at least 3 years of analytical instrument experience.
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC, GC and IC systems and metrology standards.
• Knowledge of Agilent/Waters LC/UPLC or Thermo IC instruments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnosis and repairs of HPLC, UPLC, GC and IC systems.
• Calibrate and qualify HPLC/UPLC/GC/IC systems.
• Source and order supplies to ensure inventory of parts and consumables.
• Provide on-site customer support and troubleshooting with clear communication.
