enVision Staffing Solutions seeks an Accounting Supervisor for a law firm in Boca Raton to oversee A/R and A/P and ensure GAAP compliance. The role reports to the Accounting Manager and will train and supervise staff while preparing financial reports.

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of six years of progressive accounting experience, be proficient in Excel and full cycle accounting software, and work on-site in Boca Raton, M-F, 8-5.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is required.
• Minimum of six years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Proficient with full cycle accounting software.

Mansioni

• Assist in recording and reviewing financial transactions affecting assets, liabilities, revenues and expenses; prepare and provide financial reports.
• Train and supervise A/R and A/P staff to ensure accurate completion of responsibilities.
• Provide staff with ongoing constructive feedback by preparing and presenting annual performance reviews.
• Review general ledger balance sheet account schedules to verify accuracy and provide visibility to balance sheet transactions.
• Review balance sheet, income and cash flow statements to identify trends, exceptions, variances and errors.
• Create monthly, quarterly and year-end journal entries for accruals and reclassifications.
• Prepare special financial reports as requested by leadership by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information.
• Gather necessary reports, schedules and documents for external auditors.
• Make suggestions to improve current accounting and reporting procedures.
