Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm in Palm Beach Gardens to recruit a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager.

This 100% onsite role offers a base salary of $85,000 to $100,000+, with flexibility to go higher for the right candidate, plus a discretionary bonus. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and billing processes while collaborating closely with partners and attorneys.

Qualifications

• Prior law firm accounting experience required.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience with legal billing, client invoicing, hourly billing, and related law firm accounting processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working directly with attorneys, partners, and staff.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to take ownership of responsibilities.
• Interested in long-term growth with the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations within a law firm environment
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger activity
• Support detailed client billing, hourly billing, invoicing, and related accounting processes
• Work closely with partners, attorneys, and internal staff on accounting and billing matters
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Assist with process improvements and accounting efficiencies
• Utilize Excel for reporting, analysis, and reconciliations
• Support the Finance Manager and broader accounting/finance team
• Take on increasing responsibility with the opportunity to grow into a Finance Manager role

The firm is open on title and is focused on finding the right level of experience. The ideal candidate will have prior law firm accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and the ability to work closely with attorneys, partners, and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day accounting operations within a law firm environment

Schedule:

• 100% onsite in Palm Beach Gardens
• Flexible hours between 8:30 AM–5:30 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
