Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Seattle, WA is seeking an Operations Integrator to own subsystem operations for the New Glenn program. You will lead CONOPS development, define interfaces, and coordinate across design, manufacturing, and flight operations to ensure safe, reliable performance during ground tests and launches.

The role requires a strong engineering background in mechanical or hydraulic systems, plus experience with system engineering processes and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering field.
• 4+ years of experience with mechanical or hydraulic systems.
• Experience with system engineering principles and processes.
• Experience in analysis, design, or integrated testing of mechanical or fluid power systems.
• Understanding of hydraulic system principles, components, and operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support hardware design reviews and technical assessments.
• Develop and maintain CONOPS documentation.
• Write operations documents defining product testing requirements, operations lifecycle, maintenance requirements, and critical performance/requirements interfaces across the system.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for Stage 1 mechanical subsystems.
• Provide real-time on console support for integrated tests, launch and recovery operations providing essential troubleshooting support.
• Analyze test data and provide actionable recommendations for design improvements.
• Support failure analysis and corrective action implementation.
