Job summary

Blue Origin in Florida is seeking an operations integrator to own subsystem CONOPS, architecture, and interfaces for the New Glenn flight vehicle. You will develop constraints, alerts, and limits for test and launch teams, and feed lessons learned into integrated operations.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in engineering and 4+ years in mechanical/hydraulic systems, with strong communication skills and experience in system engineering, testing, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field)
• 4+ years of proven experience with mechanical or hydraulic systems
• Experience with system engineering principles and processes
• Experience in at least one area of analysis, design, or integrated testing of mechanical or fluid power systems
• Understanding of hydraulic system principles, components, and operations

Responsibilities

• Support hardware design reviews and technical assessments
• Develop and maintain CONOPS documentation
• Author operations documents defining testing requirements, lifecycle, maintenance, and interfaces
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and operations teams for seamless integration
• Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for Stage 1 subsystems
• Provide on-console support for integrated tests, launch and recovery operations
• Analyze test data and provide design improvement recommendations
• Support failure analysis and corrective action implementation
