Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Sr Operations & Integration Engineer to support the New Glenn program from Space Coast, FL, and Seattle. The role focuses on subsystem operations, CONOPS, and cross-functional integration for a heavy-lift vehicle, with on-console troubleshooting during tests and launches.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience with mechanical systems.
• Understanding of system engineering principles and processes.
• Experience in analysis, design, or testing of mechanical or fluid power systems.

Responsibilities

• Support hardware design reviews and technical assessments.
• Develop and maintain CONOPS documentation.
• Author operations documents detailing testing requirements, lifecycle, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure integration.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for Stage 1 subsystems.
• Provide real-time on-console support for integrated tests, launches, and recovery operations.
• Analyze test data and recommend design improvements.
• Support failure analysis and corrective actions.
