Job summary

Prestigious Global Law Firm, located in New York, seeks an experienced recruiter to manage end-to-end lateral associate hiring. You will coordinate applications, interviews, candidate communications, and hiring logistics to ensure a smooth process for candidates and stakeholders.

You will partner with the Associate Recruiting Manager to implement strategies, maintain relationships with search firms, and supervise recruiting staff while tracking activity and budgets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal recruiting or professional services experience; lateral associate recruiting experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with candidates, attorneys, search firms, and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple searches, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, maintain accuracy, and handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems, interview platforms, and other recruiting technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lateral associate recruiting process, including applications, interviews, candidate communications, and hiring logistics.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for lateral associate candidates and help ensure a smooth recruiting experience throughout the process.
• Work with the Associate Recruiting Manager to support lateral associate recruiting strategies and hiring priorities.
• Manage relationships with search firms and external recruiting vendors.
• Prepare recruiting reports and materials, track hiring activity, and support recruiting events and other lateral hiring initiatives.
• Supervise and train recruiting coordinators, assistants, and interns while helping manage recruiting budgets and expenses.
