Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Tech SME for its Last Mile network in Bellevue, WA. The role drives prioritization, development, and sustainment of technology and processes to improve customer experience and scale operations.

The SME leverages machine learning and AI to transform decision-making, reduce manual work, and standardize core processes across the network, partnering with engineering and operations teams to deliver robust tech solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with tech on BRD and prioritize software enhancements.
• Highlight business risks and advise on resource allocation for lean processes.
• Act as gatekeeper for software changes and drive adoption at sites.
• Support Lean-based process improvements and standardization across Last Mile.
• Measure standard work rates for labor and capacity planning.
• Provide metrics to support compliance and cost/quality improvements.
• Collaborate with Safety, Quality, Learning, Loss Prevention, and DS Launch SME teams.
