AFICS, Inc. is seeking a lead-level field property claims adjuster in Oregon to investigate, appraise, and settle complex homeowner claims. You will assess liability, secure information, arrange appraisals, and handle 1st and 3rd party losses in a field-based role.

The position requires advanced Xactimate skills, 5+ years of field experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% (cat travel up to 75%). A relocation option is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Advanced Xactimate experience required.
• 5+ years' experience handling field property personal lines claims required.
• Prefer someone who has handled claims over $50,000.

Responsabilités

• Investigates origin and cause of high exposure claims by contacting insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, and others.
• Performs on-site inspections, evaluates damages and negotiates settlements with insureds and claimants.
• Handles both 1st and 3rd party claims across multiple policy types and endorsements.
• Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced adjusters.
• Responds to customer inquiries and communicates claim status.
