This role requires advanced Xactimate skills, 5+ years of field claims experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% (75% in catastrophe situations). Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years’ experience handling field property personal lines claims.
• Advanced Xactimate experience required.
• Experience handling claims over $50,000 preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (75% in catastrophe situations).

Aufgaben

• Investigates origin and cause of high exposure claims by contacting insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, and others.
• Participates in High Damage Reviews to address coverage issues and exposure; handles claims in good faith.
• Handles both 1st and 3rd party claims under multiple policy types and endorsements.
• Conducts on-site inspections, evaluates damages, and negotiates settlements with insureds and attorneys.
• Responds to customer inquiries, makes decisions, and closes files.
• Provides guidance to others and mentors less experienced adjusters.
