Responsibilities

• Investigates origin and cause of high exposure claims and coordinates with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and experts.
• Participates in High Damage Reviews to address coverage and exposure issues.
• Handles first- and third-party claims under multiple policy types.
• Conducts on-site inspections, evaluates damages, and negotiates with insureds and attorneys.
• Responds to inquiries, makes decisions, and closes files as needed.
• Interprets policies and coverages for assigned losses and explains to parties.
• Mentors less experienced adjusters; may take on additional assignments.
• Travel up to 50% (75% for catastrophe) and occasional office visits.
