Job summary

ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Landscape Architecture to lead landscape design for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects across North America. You will guide siting, permitting, and environmental assessments while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver defendable analyses.

We expect a registered landscape architect with a strong portfolio, 5–10 years’ experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Landscape Architect
• Digital portfolio available for review
• BA/BS in Landscape Architecture or related field; 5–10 years of experience
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and client relationships
• Driver's License required; ability to travel to client locations
• This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments, land planning, facility siting, and permitting for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.
• Produce, manage, and review Visual Impact Assessments (VIAs) and related deliverables.
• Coordinate work from multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a task manager or project manager, overseeing budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Mentor technical staff and foster a collaborative, high-performing project environment.
• Conduct site visits and maintain direct client communication to support successful project delivery.
