Job summary

ERM is seeking an experienced Managing Consultant, Landscape Architecture to lead landscape design on complex, high-visibility infrastructure projects across North America. You will guide siting decisions, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure technical integrity of environmental work that delivers meaningful outcomes.

You will collaborate on VIAs, permitting, and actionable landscape plans while growing client relationships and managing project scopes, budgets, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Registered Landscape Architect.
• Digital portfolio available for review via website or linked drive.
• BA/BS in Landscape Architecture or related field, plus 5–10 years of landscape architecture experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and related software.
• Proven success managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
• Driver's License Required: valid driver's license and/or ability to operate a company vehicle.
• This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments, land planning, facility siting, and permitting for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.
• Produce, manage, and review VIAs and related technical deliverables.
• Coordinate and integrate work from multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a task manager or project manager, overseeing budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Mentor technical staff and foster a collaborative, high-performing project environment.
• Conduct site visits and maintain direct client communication to support successful project delivery.
