Job summary

ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Landscape Architecture to lead landscape design for large, high-visibility energy and infrastructure projects in North America. You will influence siting, permitting decisions, and ensure technical integrity within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include creating planting and site designs, contributing to VIAs and technical reports, coordinating GIS and visualization experts, mentoring staff, and managing budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Landscape Architecture or related field and 5–10 years of experience.
• Valid licensure as a Registered Landscape Architect.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments and land planning for large-scale projects.
• Produce and review Visual Impact Assessments and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and quality standards; mentor staff.
• Maintain direct client communication and support project delivery.
