Job summary

ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Landscape Architecture to lead landscape design on large energy and infrastructure projects across North America. You will guide siting, permitting, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements include licensure as a Registered Landscape Architect, a BA/BS in Landscape Architecture, 5–10 years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite. Travel may be required and sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Landscape Architect with a strong portfolio.
• BA/BS in Landscape Architecture or related field; 5–10 years experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
• Willingness to travel; valid driver's license.
• This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to environmental impact assessments, land planning, facility siting, and permitting for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.
• Produce, manage, and review Visual Impact Assessments (VIAs) and related deliverables.
• Coordinate work from multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a task/ project manager, overseeing budgets, timelines, and quality.
• Mentor technical staff and foster a collaborative, high-performing project environment.
• Conduct site visits and maintain direct client communication to support delivery.
