The role emphasizes business development, marketing liaison, and ensuring high-quality technical output while maintaining a focus on profitability and client satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site position in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in land surveying or related field preferred.
• Must hold an active Professional Land Surveying registration for New York.
• Ten or more years of land surveying experience with at least 2 years of project management.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Carlson principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and project teams.
• Experience marketing and business development for a consulting firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead surveying projects, set priorities, and supervise survey staff.
• Meet with clients, prepare proposals, and establish budgets and schedules.
• Maintain client relations and resolve technical and billing questions.
• Oversee surveying activities, review changes, and manage staffing and budgets.
• Coordinate with internal departments and contribute to marketing efforts.
• Support business development and secure repeat clients.
