Job summary

Minto seeks a Land Finance Manager to lead financial modeling for land acquisitions and development projects across the United States. You will serve as the systems leader for LandDev, InformXL, and NewStar, driving data integrity and process improvements within the finance team.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on contract processing, budgeting, cash flows, and reporting, while managing master data and onboarding staff to our systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Strong accounting background in real estate (homebuilding preferred).
• Expertise in business systems, data integrity, and process improvement.
• Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with Power BI, and ERP systems knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial models for acquisitions and projects, including cash flow forecasts.
• Integrate deal components with Land Development and analyze financial performance.
• Coordinate with finance and accounting on contracts, A/P, G/L, budgeting, cash flows, and reporting.
• Manage annual finance calendar and ensure timely deliverables.
• Serve as systems leader for LandDev, InformXL, and NewStar; maintain master data.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to bridge gaps and develop solutions.
• Onboard and train staff on systems and processes.
• Maintain training docs and process manuals.
