Qualifications

• Five or more years in land underwriting, real estate financial analysis, or development finance.
• Models land scenarios from scratch with cash flow, IRR and NPV.
• Understanding of horizontal development costs, fees and margin drivers.
• Experience coordinating a real diligence package with multiple consultants.
• Proven ownership of actual versus budget reporting and variance analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, accounting, civil engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and build pro forma models for land pursuits.
• Run feasibility analyses and evaluate site constraints.
• Coordinate due diligence and manage consultant schedules.
• Own actual vs budget reporting and forecasting.
• Prepare investment committee materials and owner presentations.
• Track market data and adjust assumptions as needed.
