Job summary

Roc Search is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join its Land Development practice. You will own land development projects, guide teams, work directly with clients and agencies, and help grow the practice.

You will supervise civil engineers and designers, coordinate with architects, contractors and regulators, and manage budgets, staffing and schedules while delivering high-quality site development deliverables. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil engineering experience, with leadership in PM roles.
• Experience delivering private-sector land development and site design projects.
• Familiarity with permitting and entitlement processes and coordination with local government.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of land development assignments from planning through permitting and construction.
• Direct work of civil engineers and designers for site development deliverables.
• Serve as primary client contact and coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with surveying, transportation, and drainage/H&H disciplines to keep projects on track.
• Work with local jurisdictions through entitlement and permitting processes.
• Review design packages and provide technical oversight to ensure quality and consistency.
• Assist with construction matters including RFIs, field coordination, and site visits.
• Monitor project economics, staffing, budgets, and billing to manage financial performance.
• Help identify new opportunities through client relationships and pursuit efforts.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level professionals and distribute workloads.
