Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5–7 years of progressive civil engineering experience; may consider others.
• Experience with private subdivision/land development and infrastructure PM.
• Strong site planning and civil-design skills with schedule and budget management.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development projects from planning through final design and construction.
• Manage schedules, budgets, technical deliverables, and client expectations.
• Oversee project quality, technical accuracy, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Lead site planning and civil design, including roadway alignments, grading, stormwater management, BMP layouts, drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Review engineering sketches, calculations, and plans.
• Conduct site feasibility and due diligence; review zoning ordinances and municipal regulations; support permitting and approvals.
• Identify design and permitting challenges early and develop practical solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, developers, attorneys, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor and lead engineers, designers, and CADD technicians.
