Job summary

McClure Engineering Company seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead a variety of critical projects within the Development team. The Senior PE will mentor junior staff, drive technical design, and push innovation while maintaining McClure’s quality standards.

The role emphasizes coordination with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients, with a focus on delivering high-quality deliverables on schedule and within budget. PE licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
• General computer knowledge (Excel, Word, PDF).
• Proven mentoring and development of junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead team technical/design efforts with mentoring and guidance.
• Coordinate design reviews, milestones, and project delivery.
• Oversee QA/QC processes for reports, plans and specs.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing with Project Manager.
• Communicate with clients and leadership on progress and risks.
• Develop lessons learned and share knowledge across team.
