McClure Engineering Company is seeking a Land Development Project Engineer to lead projects from conception to completion and promote the firm’s core values. The role emphasizes applying engineering principles and code knowledge while mentoring junior staff and maintaining strong client relations.

The successful candidate will collaborate with project managers, drive QA/QC processes, and deliver high-quality design solutions with autonomy and teamwork across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and codes to ensure project completion.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Manager or Team Leader to proactively solve problems and manage project design issues.
• Actively work with the team to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
• Implementation of the QA/QC process to ensure high-quality engineering solutions and plan sets.
• Challenges the team to develop innovative alternative solutions to meet the clients’ needs.
• Strong understanding of team’s technical engineering expertise.
• Ability to build trust, manage workload, and achieve team and corporate goals.
• Be able to work autonomous as well as in a collaborative team environment.
