Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Lead Laboratory Technologist to coach a dedicated team in an innovative laboratory setting. You will ensure regulatory compliance, guide training, and oversee instrument maintenance and quality control in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, education, and collaboration with the Medical Director and lab leadership to uphold high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• Two years of laboratory training or experience in non-waived testing; 2080 hours equivalent to one year.
• Demonstrated technical and theoretical knowledge to perform clinical lab functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach laboratory staff, ensuring compliance and quality control.
• Maintain instruments according to manufacturer specifications and CLIA regulations.
• Train students, employees and residents in theory and techniques when in education track.
• Develop and update procedural manuals and participate in new assay validations.

Education
