Job summary

Qualifications

• Able to perform pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical testing.
• Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment as per manufacturer guidance.
• Documents all laboratory activities and adheres to policies and PHI security.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently performs pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical processes for laboratory testing.
• Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment according to manufacturer’s instructions.
• Performs and evaluates quality control assessments as described in policies before reporting patient results.
• Evaluates results to ensure quality patient care and documents all activities.
• Trains students and new team members; assists with departmental projects and regulatory compliance.
