Job summary

Venteon in Sterling Heights seeks a Manager, Labor & Employee Relations to lead the company's labor relations strategy across union and non-union operations. You will guide contract negotiations, advise leadership on union activity, and train leaders to operate within both unionized and non-union environments.

You will oversee health and safety leadership, regulatory compliance, and HR policy administration while partnering with EHS teams to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, labor relations, or related field.
• 8+ years in labor and employee relations including collective bargaining.
• US and Canadian manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. labor law.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive labor relations strategies.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage union relationships.
• Coach leaders on investigations and employee management.
• Oversee HR policy, investigations, and safety compliance.
