Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida state bar in good standing; familiarity with CA bar.</br>
• Minimum 5–7 years of labor and employment litigation experience.
• Proven track record in complex employment litigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on labor and employment issues, including wage/hour, discrimination, harassment, termination, and workplace safety.
• Represent clients in labor and employment litigation; draft pleadings and motions.
• Conduct legal research to stay updated on developments in the field.
• Manage all phases of litigation: discovery, depositions, trial prep, settlements.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and handbooks.
• Advise on compliance with federal, state, local laws.
• Conduct internal investigations and audits of employment practices.
• Provide training to clients on labor and employment topics.
• Mentor junior associates and support staff.
• Assist in business development for the practice.
