The successful attorney will handle sophisticated employment disputes, manage litigation matters, and collaborate with seasoned attorneys in a well-established practice, with direct client interaction and substantial responsibility.

Qualifications

• Four to six years of litigation experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and depositions.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• Strong written and oral advocacy and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle labor and employment litigation from intake to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other documents.
• Take depositions and assist with hearings and court proceedings.
• Represent employers in employment disputes and related proceedings.
• Advise clients on issues, risks, and dispute resolution.
• Manage multiple matters and collaborate with colleagues.
• Maintain client relationships and provide commercially focused advice.

The successful candidate will work on sophisticated employment disputes, assume responsibility for litigation matters and collaborate with experienced attorneys in a well-established practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle labor and employment litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and other litigation documents.
• Conduct depositions and assist with hearings and court proceedings.
• Represent employers in employment-related disputes and administrative proceedings.
• Advise clients on employment law issues, litigation risks and dispute resolution.
• Manage multiple matters independently while collaborating with colleagues on complex cases.
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients and provide commercially focused advice.

Candidate Requirements

• Approximately 4–6 years of litigation experience.
• Demonstrable experience handling labor and employment matters.
• Active Florida Bar licence in good standing.
• Experience drafting pleadings, managing discovery and handling depositions.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage litigation independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent academic credentials and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
