ALDI is seeking a Managing Counsel for Labor & Employment to lead the Labor and Employment team in Aurora, IL. The role focuses on strategic guidance, labor relations, and minimizing risk, reporting to senior leadership.

The position carries a start salary of $207,000 with increases to $220,000 in year 2 and $233,000 in year 3, and participates in ALDI's Hybrid Work Program requiring in-office presence at least one day per week.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required.
• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school required.
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois (or eligibility) required.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive legal experience, preferably in-house and/or law firm.

Mansioni

• Provide strategic labor and employment counsel to executive leadership and internal teams.
• Lead and manage the Labor and Employment group, setting priorities and ensuring outcomes.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on complex litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters.
• Oversee negotiations, wage-hour compliance, and labor relation strategies across the organization.
• Draft legal memorandums, position statements, and risk assessments for management.
