ALDI seeks a Managing Counsel - Labor & Employment in Aurora, IL to lead the Labor and Employment team and provide strategic guidance on labor relations, compliance, and risk management. The role collaborates with leadership, HR, and outside counsel to protect the company’s interests.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of progressive legal experience, a JD from an ABA-accredited school, and Illinois licensure, with strong negotiation and analytical skills guiding complex matters.

Formación

• J.D. is required and licensed to practice in Illinois.
• Significant experience advising on employment law matters, including employee relations and investigations.
• Experience managing others and leading a team preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic labor and employment counsel to leadership and HR.
• Lead the Labor and Employment team and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Advise on wage and hour compliance, labor relations, and workplace investigations.
• Develop and implement labor relations strategies and training for managers.
• Manage risk and minimize legal liability across multiple jurisdictions.
