ALDI USA is seeking a senior Labor and Employment attorney to provide strategic guidance on labor relations and to lead the Labor and Employment team in Aurora, IL. The role involves advising senior leadership, partnering with HR, and coordinating with outside counsel on employment litigation and disputes.

The ideal candidate will possess a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, be licensed in Illinois or eligible to become licensed, and have substantial experience in labor relations, employee

Qualifications

• Requires a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and Illinois licensure or ability to obtain promptly.
• Requires Bachelor’s degree at minimum.
• Extensive knowledge of US labor and employment law, especially labor relations, wage/hour, investigations, and litigation.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic labor and employment counsel to leadership and HR.
• Lead and supervise the Labor and Employment team.
• Engage with executive leadership and outside counsel on labor disputes and litigation.
• Develop and review labor relations strategies, policies, and training to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Direct complex negotiations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal considerations with business goals.
• Monitor evolving labor and employment laws nationwide and communicate actionable updates.
