ALDI USA seeks a senior legal professional to advise on employment and OSHA matters, counsel business units, and manage risk across jurisdictions. The role collaborates with HR, Safety, and Operations to ensure regulatory compliance and strategic guidance.

The position requires a J.D., Illinois license or eligibility, and 5+ years in a legal environment. This full-time role in Aurora, IL supports ALDI’s hybrid work program with in-office presence required a minimum of twice per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and J.D. from ABA-accredited law school preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in a legal environment, with employment/labor/OSHA exposure.
• Licensed to practice in Illinois (or able to become licensed soon).

Responsibilities

• Provide employment law and OSHA compliance counsel to multiple business units.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and legal documents.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and manage related matters.
• Research emergent legal issues and communicate updates to leadership.
