Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a certified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Laboratory Technician I to join our Cleveland team. You will perform a variety of tests on construction material samples in concrete and soils labs, following ASTM standards, and collaborate with experienced professionals to expand your expertise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS.
• Proficiency with ASTM testing methods.
• Experience with Breakpro or Keylab software.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory testing on construction material samples.
• Applies standard and advanced testing procedures per ASTM methods.
• Interprets test data and prepares summaries/reports under Laboratory Manager guidance.
• Performs calculations and data reduction for test results.
• Maintains a clean, QA/QC compliant laboratory.
• Performs calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Trains and mentors junior laboratory staff.
• Assists with fieldwork as needed.
