PDS Tech, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Technician to support hands-on laboratory and prototype development programs.

You will build, maintain, troubleshoot, and operate sophisticated lab systems and equipment, collaborating with engineers, scientists, and senior technicians to meet critical R&D milestones. Ideal candidates have experience in vacuum and gas-handling systems, lab instruments, and wiring of test cables, with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and a bias for

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4-6 years of relevant technical experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory systems and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform electrical and mechanical assembly of prototype systems.
• Assemble laboratory equipment and experimental hardware.
• Build wiring harnesses, test cables, and electrical assemblies.
• Assist engineers and scientists with prototype development activities.
• Configure and maintain laboratory vacuum systems.
• Install and troubleshoot components utilizing CF, KF, NPT, and VCR fittings.
• Support gas handling and distribution systems.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Assist in setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
