Qualifications

  • Experience working in laboratory settings (sample preparation, data collection, data management).
  • Strong math, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple supervisors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willing to work onsite full time.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

  • Challenge existing laboratory and production methods to drive process improvement and increase throughput and quality.
  • Support engineering and science teams with research, system design, prototyping, and construction of innovative solutions.
  • Assist in developing, assembling, deploying, and testing mechanical and electrical systems for domestic and international use.
  • Support startup, calibration, and functional testing of prototypes to verify performance against requirements.
  • Collaborate with Safety teams to ensure compliance with internal, industry, and regulatory safety standards.

Job description

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with fabrication and assembly tools (hand tools, power tools, soldering, welding, cutting, grinding, drilling).
  • Experience using electrical test instruments such as digital multimeters or oscilloscopes.
  • PCB‑level soldering and troubleshooting skills.
  • Programming experience with single‑board microcontrollers/computers.
  • Experience operating milling machines, drilling machines, or lathes.
