Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus five (5) years of work experience in qualification testing of multiple aerospace products.
• Experience working with and knowledge of air and fluid mechanical systems and electronic controls, process automation and data acquisition.
• Ability to read complicated technical specifications and procedures to identify issues and problems, generate solutions, and choose appropriate alternatives using root cause analysis where problems are more complex.

Responsibilities

• Review job order, SDS, and SOPs; select appropriate test equipment and execute projects; perform calculations.
• Monitor test performance, data acquisition, and testing; analyze results and propose solutions; set up and test units and subassemblies under operational conditions.
• Perform analytical testing on R&D qualification projects and outside customer projects, including microscopy, materials science, and chemistry.
