Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Support Engineer for our Pleasanton, CA campus. You will service instruments and networked systems used in R&D and Clinical Operations, focusing on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and network security support, including Fortigate devices.

You will collaborate with IT and engineering teams, document all activities, and travel locally to support Santa Clara as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience servicing medical/lab equipment and networked systems.
• Experience configuring Fortigate firewall/network security appliances.
• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on instruments.
• Install, IOQ, troubleshoot, repair instruments and software.
• Configure software and upgrade system applications.
• Establish and troubleshoot network connections for remote access.
• Map IP addresses; manage VLANs, switches, routers, DNS/DHCP.
• Document activities in EEM database and ServiceNow.
• Provide IT support for labs and secure data repositories.
