Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Pleasanton, CA onsite to support End-to-End Solution Integration for Next-Generation Diagnostic Solutions. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure system robustness and scalability across technologies.

This hands-on role involves system integration, verification and validation testing, and continuous improvement of workflows. A Bachelor's in relevant field and 5+ years' experience required; cloud-based and in-vitro

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of related industry experience.
• Experience troubleshooting instruments and software.
• Cloud-based systems experience desirable.
• Experience developing in-vitro diagnostic products desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to influence stakeholders.
• Scripting/programming experience (Python or Java) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system integration across end-to-end workflows, instruments, software, and data pipelines.
• Contribute to requirements definition, defect management, and system testing.
• Design and execute verification and validation test cases.
• Analyze test results for accuracy and relevance to requirements.
• Report issues, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis.
• Contribute to system documentation, including requirements, specifications, integration plans, and verification results.
• Identify and lead opportunities for workflow automation and continuous improvement.
