Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Analyst Support Engineer/Lab Lead to manage and implement environmental test projects and lab operations. You will ensure safety, security, and compliance while collaborating with customers, engineers, and leaders.

The position requires a DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship. This onsite role emphasizes hands-on lab work, procedures, and continuous improvement in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years' prior relevant experience.
• Experience with working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment.
• Mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Lab Operating Procedures (LOPs) and lab-user policies.
• Coordinate Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainment programs.
• Oversee Property & Metrology Management to ensure compliance.
• Perform cost analyses and ensure tasks stay within budgets.
• Provide process support to Supply Chain Management.
• Oversee audit and assessment preparation.
• Lead Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and protective programs.
• Safeguard classified materials and documentation per Export rules.
• Develop and implement communication plans for management teams.
• Influence stakeholders on policies and procedures.
• Work autonomously with limited oversight and problem solving.
• Travel locally and occasionally outside the local area.
