Job summary

CBRE in Cambridge, MA is seeking an experienced instrumentation service professional to optimize the lifecycle cost of high-end laboratory equipment through expert installation, calibration, repair, and preventive maintenance. The role is fully onsite, Monday–Friday, with a company-owned vehicle provided for field activities, and requires strong chromatography knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific field.
Seven years of instrumentation experience including installation, calibration, maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

Performs advanced troubleshooting and service on laboratory instruments and systems.
Supports product lines: Agilent, Waters, Thermo Scientific; chromatography-focused.
Leads scheduling and coordination of technicians for installation, calibration, maintenance.
Documents inspections, maintenance, repairs, and related work.
Provides training to staff on specialized instrumentation techniques.
Communicates with clients and external contractors regarding repairs and maintenance.
