Job summary

Paxos is hiring a Senior Compliance Associate, KYC, to understand and manage customer risk through onboarding and due diligence for individuals and institutions. You will work independently and with cross-functional teams to resolve KYC challenges and improve processes.

You will review complex customer information, document risk-based decisions, and support junior colleagues while contributing to audits and regulatory examinations as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of US KYC requirements and ongoing due diligence for individuals and institutions.
• Experience performing KYC reviews and documenting risk-based decisions within authority.
• Ability to guide junior analysts with practical feedback and coaching.
• Solid collaboration skills across Compliance, Product, Engineering, Data, and Business teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform KYC onboarding, ongoing due diligence, and enhanced due diligence reviews.
• Assess complex customer information and document decisions with supporting analysis and next steps.
• Support junior analysts with guidance and feedback on review quality and documentation.
• Contribute to KYC procedures and operational guidance; update as needed.
