Paxos in the United States seeks a Compliance KYC Manager to lead a team handling customer onboarding and ongoing due diligence. You will review complex cases, coach staff in risk-based decisions, and drive remediation of control gaps and audit findings.

You'll partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and business teams to improve KYC processes and tools, raise operational performance, and report metrics to senior management. Weekend duty may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading KYC operations and working directly in queues, reviewing complex cases and documenting defensible decisions.
• Deep knowledge of US KYC requirements, including customer identification, beneficial ownership, CDD/EDD, and ongoing due diligence.
• Experience owning remediation of control gaps and audit or regulatory findings, including action planning and validation.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day KYC operations across onboarding and ongoing due diligence, managing queues, priorities, quality, and turnaround times.
• Be hands-on in complex case reviews and escalations, documenting risk-based decisions clearly.
• Develop the KYC team through coaching, training, performance feedback, and capacity planning.
• Own and maintain policies, procedures, and operational guidance reflecting requirements.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and business teams to resolve challenges and set priorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with Paxos' enterprise partners and their Compliance teams.
• Identify control gaps and lead remediation, including root-cause analysis and evidence retention.
• Participate in audits and regulatory examinations, providing documentation and timely responses.
• Manage KYC vendor relationships and coordinate improvements to tools and workflows.
• Drive improvements to KYC tooling and automation, and support user acceptance testing.
• Develop and report operational metrics to leadership, highlighting trends and risks.
• Support Compliance Operations with occasional weekend duty when needed.
