Job summary

CoreWeave, a leader in AI-enabled cloud infrastructure, seeks a Senior Specialist Field Engineer for Kubernetes to design architectures, troubleshoot large GPU-based clusters, and drive customer success. You will collaborate with product and engineering to shape features while working with customers in real-world workloads.

You are experienced with Kubernetes internals, Helm, and GitOps tools, capable of translating technical problems for engineers and executives, and open to occasional travel

Qualifications

• 7+ years building or operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience writing Kubernetes operators or controllers in Go or Rust using CRDs.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals: API server, etcd, scheduler, controllers.
• Experience with admission control and policy, RBAC, and ServiceAccounts.

Responsibilities

• Design Kubernetes architectures for complex customers.
• Troubleshoot problems spanning API server, etcd, scheduler, kubelet, container runtime, CNI, network, and storage.
• Identify gaps where product can be improved and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Lead customer technical overviews, proofs of concept, and workshops, with travel.
