Latham & Watkins LLP is seeking an Associate Director of Knowledge Management, Senior KM Counsel, to lead the KM team across Practice Groups, shaping strategy and ensuring effective engagement by lawyers. You will supervise KM Counsel and KM Lawyers, allocate resources, and guide the KM program for the Practice Group.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent required.
• Bar admission in at least one US state
• Minimum 10 years of practice management experience
• Minimum 10 years in a management role
• Minimum 8 years as a practicing attorney with a leading international law firm in litigation, regulatory, or tax

Responsabilités

• Lead, manage, and supervise KM colleagues assigned to the Practice Group, including KM Counsel and KM Lawyers.
• Develop a framework for the involvement of practicing lawyers in KM activities and allocate workflow and responsibility.
• Distill extensive internal deal datasets to prepare market insights for internal and external use.
• Monitor deal landscape and develop materials to communicate trends to leadership, clients, and prospects.
• Collaborate with Technology & IS leadership to drive AI-based workflows for extraction and analysis of key provisions.
