Job summary
Sycuan Casino is seeking a skilled Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician in El Cajon, CA to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment, including steamers, broilers, grills, and appliances. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and replacing parts to keep operations running smoothly.
You will guide Kitchen Mechanics, manage parts inventory, and uphold safety standards while partnering with the Chief Engineer on projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 5 years experience in commercial kitchen equipment maintenance and repair.
- 2 years vocational training and/or related experience.
- 2 years plumbing and pipe fitting experience.
- EPA certified universal HVAC/R license.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and repairs commercial kitchen equipment by inspecting steamers, broilers, grills and appliances, repairing or replacing parts, and performing preventative maintenance.
- Maintains and organizes parts and inventory, logging parts received and used, and tracking manuals and warranty dates.
- Keeps work area safe and clean, follows safety standards, and supports on kitchen projects with guidance to team members.
