Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2 years experience repairing and servicing commercial kitchen equipment.
• EPA 608 certification required within 6 months of employment or equivalent experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass pre-employment screening including background check and gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Schedules monthly preventive maintenance inspections on all commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Performs service and mechanical repairs on all commercial kitchen equipment and appliances and records data.
• Continually assess preventive maintenance schedule to extend equipment longevity.
• Coordinates activities with supervisory personnel and installs new equipment as directed.
• Maintains and repairs refrigeration units, walk-in refrigerators, and freezers.
• Contacts and coordinates work with outside vendors and writes work orders.
• Responds promptly to maintenance issues to avoid service disruption.
• Ensures safe operation of tools, equipment, and vehicles; observes safety rules.
