Job summary

Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to maintain refrigeration and kitchen equipment across the property. The role involves hands-on repairs, equipment maintenance, and strict adherence to health codes.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 10 years’ experience in kitchen equipment maintenance, and EPA refrigeration certification. Strong reading of schematics and electrical troubleshooting are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year technical training.
• EPA approved “Proper Refrigeration Practices” (Universal Certification Card).
• Minimum 10 years maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Must be familiar with high and low voltage controls.

Responsibilities

• Interact effectively with the public and team members.
• Perform timely repairs on domestic, commercial and industrial kitchen equipment.
• Maintain refrigeration equipment, compressors, evaporators, and refrigerant leaks.
• Read schematics and perform electrical troubleshooting on mechanical equipment.
• Weld stainless, aluminum and cast iron.
• Maintain logs and supply materials as needed.
